We had another outstanding experience with Central Kentucky Tours! This was our third time booking a private distillery tour with them, and once again they exceeded our expectations. Josh, the owner, was incredibly easy to work with throughout the planning process. He responded to every email promptly, answered all of our questions, and made organizing our itinerary completely stress-free. Our driver, Ed, truly made the day special. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about Kentucky, bourbon, and the distilleries we visited, and he shared fascinating stories throughout the tour. He also had a cooler stocked with bottled water and snacks, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated throughout the day. We planned this trip to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and Ed went above and beyond by reaching out ahead of time to ask about her favorite type of donut so he could have one waiting for her that morning. It was such a thoughtful, personal gesture that made my mom feel celebrated and set the tone for an amazing day. We had an absolutely fantastic day with Central Kentucky Tours. Our itinerary included tours at Woodford Reserve Distillery, Buffalo Trace Distillery, and Castle & Key Distillery, and everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. A special shout-out to Carey, who was an outstanding driver and host throughout the day. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. What really stood out was his flexibility—he made sure the day worked around our plans rather than the other way around. After our scheduled tours were complete, Carey even dropped us off in Lexington so we could continue exploring other distilleries and enjoy more of the bourbon trail at our own pace. We used Central Kentucky Tours for a boys bourbon trail trip. They were super easy to work with. I supplied a list of distillers I was interested in and Josh came back with a couple of suggestions of some smaller ones. I trusted his knowledge and day one was the majors and day two was the smaller ones. Josh made all the arrangements and sent me the schedule. All we had to do was hop on the bus and everything was taken care of to include lunch stops! It was great! Would definitely recommend them and a big shout out to our driver Darrell. He’s was a fantastic driver and knew many of the people at the distilleries.

We had a wonderful experience with our tour—from picking us up at our campground to the distilleries, to the awesome lunch spots, and even making a quick side trip for us to pick up some chocolates. Darrell our driver was awesome and we enjoyed our entire tour. Highly recommend this company.

We had a great time touring several bourbon distilleries in the Lexington, KY area. Our tour guide, Ed, was super nice and accommodating. He was very knowledgeable of the distilleries and bourbon in general, which really enhanced the overall experience. Plan to do another round again as soon as we can.

CKT did a great job from soup to nuts! They helped us plan a great day out and executed flawlessly. They also recommended a distillary that wasn’t even on our radar and it ended up being our favorite!
